FreeWebResizer is a collection of 110+ browser-based tools for everyday tasks — image resizing, format conversion, PDF manipulation, QR code generation, color picking, text manipulation, encoding, and more. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you process is ever sent to a server.

Why it exists

Most online tools require you to upload your files to someone else's server. That's fine for a quick resize, but it's a problem when you're working with sensitive photos, client assets, or anything you'd rather keep private. FreeWebResizer was built to eliminate that tradeoff: fast, free tools with zero upload required.

How it works

Every tool uses standard browser APIs — Canvas, File Reader, Web Workers — to process files locally. When you resize an image or generate a QR code, the computation happens on your device. The browser never sends your data to an external server because there is no server to send it to.

This also means the tools work offline once loaded. No account, no API key, no usage limits.

What's included

The site covers seven categories of tools:

• Image tools — resize, crop, rotate, flip, compress, blur, sharpen, watermark, and convert between JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, SVG, and BMP.
• PDF tools — merge, split, compress, rotate, reorder, watermark, view PDFs, convert PDFs to images, and convert images to PDFs.
• QR code generators — single QR codes, bulk CSV-to-QR with logo support, WiFi QR codes, and vCard contact QR codes.
• Instagram tools — resize images to feed, story, and reel dimensions. Split photos into grid tiles.
• Color tools — color picker, converter, palette generator, and gradient builder.

PDF tools in detail

All 9 PDF tools use pdf-lib for manipulation and PDF.js for rendering. Everything runs client-side. Common workflows:

• Merge multiple PDFs into a single file — drag to reorder before merging.
• Extract specific pages from a large document using the split tool.
• Reduce file size with the compressor by stripping metadata and optimizing streams.
• Add watermarks with custom text, color, opacity, and rotation.
• Convert PDF pages to PNG images at 2× resolution for sharing or archiving.
• Convert images to PDF — combine multiple photos into a single document.
