Private, in-browser PDF merging
Your PDF files are processed entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. No files are uploaded to any server. Your documents stay on your device.
How to merge PDFs
- Click the upload area or drag multiple PDF files onto it.
- Arrange the files in the order you want them merged.
- Click Merge PDFs and download the combined file.
The merger uses pdf-lib, a powerful JavaScript library for PDF manipulation. All processing happens locally — your files never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a file size limit?
There’s no hard limit from our side, but very large files (hundreds of MB) may be slow to process depending on your device. For best results, keep individual files under 50 MB.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged unless you first remove the password protection using a tool that supports decryption.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
No. The merge process copies pages as-is without re-encoding. Your original quality is preserved exactly.
