Frequently asked questions
How do I make a color transparent?
Drop or select an image, then click on the color you want to remove. Use the tolerance slider to control how similar colors are also made transparent. Higher tolerance removes more similar shades. Download as PNG or WebP to preserve transparency.
What is tolerance?
Tolerance controls how closely a pixel must match the picked color to be made transparent. At 0, only exact matches are removed. At 100, a wide range of similar shades become transparent. Start with a low value and increase if needed.
Why can I not use JPEG for transparent images?
JPEG format does not support alpha transparency. Any transparent areas will appear as a solid color (usually white) when saved as JPEG. Use PNG or WebP instead, both of which fully support transparent backgrounds.
